The majority of online safety at Woodlands Primary is taught within the Computing Curriculum, so that children can make explicit links with the safety and technology. This is however strengthened, and recalled, through the Wellbeing Curriculum and through Personal Development assemblies.

This is then built into our computing curriculum, ensuring all children are exposed to at least one lesson per cycle of online safety, as well as one lesson within the wellbeing curriculum. We also hold a series of assemblies through “Keeping Safe” to ensure the profile of online safety is high as we know this is an important element of our curriculum.
